Notes from the Coach

Hello LoneStar Family, 

My name is Natalie Collier and this is my first year coaching at LoneStar. I am so excited to start this club season and get to work with these fine young ladies! I have played volleyball for about 12 years. I started out playing recreational volleyball in the 4th grade. 

I began competing in club in the 8th grade and am currently competing at a high collegiate level. I played club, high school, and college volleyball as a utility player. This means I can play all three front row positions. I am currently in my junior year of college at Dallas Baptist University where I am playing volleyball and pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood - 6th grade Education. If I had to describe my coaching style I would say I am very much a player's coach. I have been and am still a player. I see things from the eyes of a player as well as the eyes of a coach.

  I will encourage all of my players to always give 100% while having positive attitudes. I can't wait for each and every girl to improve their skills, their knowledge of the game and to grow life long friendships.

Played in 27 matches and 68 sets during her freshman season … Tallied 148 kills and 21 blocks as an outside hitter … Also added 115 digs on the year.
Dallas Baptist University, (2016-Present)
Played in 21 matches and 55 sets in her first season at DBU ... Totaled 40 kills and 16 blocks as a Middle Blocker.
The Colony High School Varsity Volleyball Team, (2011-2014)
Four-year letterman at The Colony High School … Coached by Terri Harrod … Named a Second Team All-District selection in 2014 … Team captain her senior season and received the team’s Outstanding Hitter award … Recognized as the team’s Outstanding Hitter and Blocker of the Year as a sophomore … 
Dallas Synergy Volleyball Club (2011-2014)

Went to Nationals in the Patriot Division.

Qualified for Nationals at the Regional Qualifier. Placed 3rd in Orlando National Division.
